One day in 1614 Vladimir Rague, a famous French painter, finished his great work called The Hacienda. This work has been called the most expensive landscape painting in the world. It remained at the Abbitt Center for Art in New York City, New York. The Hacienda remained at the Abbit Center for Art. The Hacienda was as popular a thing to see as The Mona Lisa. The painting became known as a legend and attracted many tourists. The center staff teased tourists and said, "Oh my God! I can't believe I'm finally here, oh my God!" Three hundred and sixteen years later, on August 22, 1930, the Abbit Center for Art was robbed. A painting was stolen, The Hacienda. There were two guards on duty, Oliver Frank and Bob Jones, the guards patrolled the building. Then Officer Frank heard a shot on the west end. The Hacienda was at the eastern end. Both guards rushed to see what had happened and a window had been broken. Then, after inspecting everything, they continued to patrol the museum. Bob Jones shouted, "Frank, we've got a problem!" Frank rushed to see what had happened. Bob and Frank looked at each other in terror at the empty frame where the Hacienda once stood. The officers called the police department and told them. The police chief on the other end said, “I am very disappointed in you two, this is a huge matter with serious consequences.” Frank and Bob were ashamed and upset at their failure to protect the Hacienda. The two officers were also told that they needed to notify the owners of the Abbit Center for Art, the employees of the Abbit Center of Art and essentially everyone. He went home and would call Oliver Frank. When he got to the phone he screamed in terror! There were 5 messages on his home phone. He listened to the first one and said, "You'll never catch me, I'll be dead before we get to this mystery!" The next five said the same thing. This was scary because it was also said by a computer with a screeching mess. “This is a big mess!” Clemente exclaimed.
