After learning about them in computer science class, I found it fascinating how the average person consistently misses such a commonly used practice. Everyone uses this idea and yet they have no idea what it is, or even if they are using it. This is partly why I'm so interested in computer science. I want to be able to create more complex algorithms to use in programs that people use and even though they will most likely have no idea what they are actually using. I use computers daily as it is, and I think it would be extremely fulfilling to create something that people who use computers and other similar technology on a daily basis could use for both convenience and enjoyment. The introductory computer science course will be a preview of my desire to continue in the computer science field or not.
