from Neanderthals to HomosapiensNeanderthal is the most recent archaic human being, introduced into this world between 300,00 and 100,000 years ago and then, after many years, replaced by man between 35,000 and 24,000 years ago. Neanderthals inhabited Eurasia from the Atlantic regions of Europe eastward to central Asia and from the north to present-day Belgium southward to the Mediterranean and southwestern Asia.” (www.britannica.com). Human populations very similar to Neanderthals lived in eastern Asia and Africa. Neanderthals lived in these places because they had many limestone caves in which they lived; limestone caves also preserve bones very well. “The name Neanderthal (or Neandertal) comes from the Neander Valley near Düsseldorf, Germany, where quarrymen unearthed portions of a human skeleton from a cave in 1856” (www.britnnica.com). Homo sapiens which in Latin means "wise men" Homo sapiens is the species to which all modern human beings belong. Homo sapiens is a rare species since it is one of numerous species grouped in the genus Homo, but it is the only one that is not extinct. ”The name Homo sapiens was applied in 1758 by the father of modern biological classification (see taxonomy), Carolus Linnaeus. It had long been known that humans physically resemble primates more than any other known living organism, but at the time it was a bold act to classify humans in the same framework as the rest of nature” (www.britannica. com). The two species have been around longer than people think, which is why there are so many different ideas about each species. Homo sapiens was much more advanced than Neanderthal, which allowed the species Homo sapiens to live... middle of paper... the son of Tha, which shows why Neanderthal is stronger there bodies mature a lot more quickly. Humans are very similar to mammals: both share anatomical, physiological and biochemical aspects. All in all, Homo sapiens became much more superior to Neanderthals in social skills, culture, and mind. The reason why we are all so advanced today began with Homo sapiens: they were the first sign of important and significant steps in becoming who we are today. They thought for themselves and basically created a mentality of individuality, they could fulfill themselves. Neanderthals could never have done that kind of thing if they weren't advanced enough mentally but only physically. The advanced technologies we have today are derived from the basic knowledge that Homo sapiens had back then, everything has gradually developed to create such a creative human world.
