Cutting a person and putting into practice what he has studied for at least eight years is always stressful. From pre-operative prescriptions, seeing the patient, obtaining consent and preparing the person for the procedure they are about to undergo is just the first step. Once the surgery is done, surgeons need to check on the patient, fill out post-op orders and write prescriptions as well as dictating everything that just happened is the next step. In all of this the surgeon should have good bedside manner and, unfortunately, there are many who do but there are others who do not. Specialists must do everything one step at a time, taking their time and fully informing the Patient of everything, explaining everything in detail so that there are no "gaps" in what to do, it would make everyone breathe easier. Healthcare facilities should dedicate a certain amount of time to the surgeon's interaction with the patient before and after surgery. This way everyone would be on the same page
