Cultural Diversity, Multiculturalism and Inclusion In writing this essay I will provide my reader with various scenarios to provide a good understanding of cultural diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion as well as the definitions and their effectiveness in class. First, cultural diversity is the ethnic, gender, racial, and socioeconomic variety present in a situation, institution, or group; the coexistence of different ethnic, gender, racial, and socioeconomic groups within one social unit as in the years 1889–1920. Showing the contribution of Americanization of immigration, job training, and family life reform and continuing through 1950-1980 to bring racial and cultural harmony to equality of educational opportunity (Spring 2013, p. 8).
