The main development that occurs in the school age years or practical operational stage is fine moral development (Berk, 2007). Unlike the pre-operational phase, children in concrete interventions will not have any difficulty finding the solution to a problem. Influenced by the Culture vs. Nature along with cognitive domain, a child's moral reasoning will be more advanced as he will follow the rules and know the consequences if he did something wrong. I was only 4 years old when I started school. I always cry in front of our school because I don't want my mother to leave me in kindergarten, but if this came up again in middle school I would respond differently because I have developed moral judgment. Intellectual improvement is not inherited from parents but it is believed that this phase is part of the child's growth. The use of language during this stage is very important for communication. When I was about 9 years old my cousin taught me English, at that age I hated English because it's my second language and it's really hard for me to understand it. My cousin invented a game where we have to speak English for all 4 hours and whoever speaks Tagalog (Filipino language) will have to give a candy to the opponent. From my point of view I thought if I didn't talk for the whole 4 hours I would earn more because I could keep the candy for myself. This shows the egocentric discourse of Piaget's theory (Berk, 2007) as I only think about myself and what will happen to me, but I didn't think that my cousin was playing that game to make me learn English. From this experience I draw a negative development from thinking that I am winning, since in the end I will have the one with the most candy. At a young age not talking for 4 hours is a while'
