Sunni Islam is considered a non-religious group. Sunnism is a branch of Islam considered the broadest. Sunni Islam is based on the core beliefs of the “five pillars” of shahadah, fasting, prayer, almsgiving and pilgrimage. These beliefs are identical to the general belief system of Islam. The umma or unity of the Muslim community is founded on the early leaders who involved the prophet, his companions and successors. The main inspiration of Sunni Islam comes from the Koran, considered the Holy Bible, and from hadith. Thus, the consolidation of hadith literature constitutes the fundamental foundation of Sunnism. Sunnis, just like all Muslims, believe in the Quran as the true form of writing revealed to Prophet Muhammad by Allah or God. Sunnis therefore regarded the Quran as a unique and uncorrupted testimony of God's communication with human beings during the twenty-three years of the prophet's vocation. The most distinctive feature of the Sunni Muslim concerns the use of hadith as broader descriptions of legendary perspectives. The hadith therefore constitutes an important element in the Sunni Muslim belief system. Hadiths serve as a source of interpretation of the Quran as each hadith is generally accompanied by a list of names or isnad that provides narrative accounts (Holmes, 2007). Images Sunni Islam maintains various restrictions in relation to the depiction of spirituality and Qur'anic prophets. The injunction against graven images is fundamentally founded on the belief system that God possesses the creative power. The place of worship in Sunni Islam is known as the mosque. Imams are considered shepherds of the community and are committed to offering inspiration to individuals and solving their problems.
