Have you ever been in a situation where you found out that one of your friends or classmates is copying your test? If yes, then you know how painful it can be to convince them to stop cheating without causing a ruckus. If this has never happened to you then consider yourself lucky, but it will probably happen soon. Imagine you're in class and someone is copying your answers on a really important test that accounts for a huge part of your final grade. You understand right away that they shouldn't copy, but you don't want to make a spectacle of it. Then you start brainstorming some ways to cope so they can't cheat anymore. Some solutions that cross your mind are to tell them to stop, move the paper away from them and cover your answers, get up and go tell the teacher or whoever is in charge. These are all good ideas, but you want to think about it deeper, so here we are. The first solution is to tell them to stop cheating on your assignment. You might tell them things like, “I don't really know if these answers are right, so if I were you I wouldn't cheat on my assignment.” I would say this solution is probably not the best because you are supposed to speak and you are not allowed to speak during the tests. On the other hand, they will most likely listen to you and stop cheating on your document. This could be a great solution for you because you would never get into trouble and as long as you are not in trouble everything is fine. Right? Wrong. If your classmate stops cheating on your test and hasn't studied for the test, he or she will probably just look at someone else's test. Well then it's their problem you'll think, but soon it will be everyone's problem and not just yours. Now that you think about it, maybe you should... middle of paper... fight the thing to do and you won't get in trouble, so move on. When the teacher tells your classmate that he has to turn in your test early, you can't help but smile because your plan worked. Now that you realize that this was by far the best solution, you start to recap which solutions had flaws. All in all, I think the third solution where you tell your teacher about the cheater is the best because you never even have the chance to get in trouble unlike solution number one (tell them to stop) and you didn't have to deal with the hassle to move the sheet like solution number two (move the sheet and hide the answers). Finally, solution number three is definitely the best because the person stops cheating and gets into trouble while the teacher will probably thank you for telling him about the cheater.
