Teen Pregnancies Over the past decade, there has been an increase in teen pregnancies around the world! Many other young adolescents between the ages of 13 and 19 have children out of wedlock and long before they graduate from high school. This has been a worldwide problem over the years. A show was even created to show all the difficulties young teenagers face having a child at a young age. Most teenagers are unaware of the real problems and conflicts that come with becoming pregnant at a young age. They are not financially stable or mentally stable to raise a child, and this is where the real problems begin. Many teenagers suffer the long-term consequences of teenage pregnancy. This global problem can be solved in 3 steps: education about sex, parenting and sexually transmitted diseases. Community help and peer mediation program. One of the problems that impact teen pregnancies is not knowing how to get contraceptives. Many teens don't use them because some need a parent/guardian's permission to take the pill or shot. The most effective way to prevent pregnancy is abstinence and just waiting for the right time. If not, there are some things that help prevent pregnancy: the male condom, the pill, the shot, a patch, an IUD, etc... Some people think they won't get pregnant if they have their period or do pee immediately after or take a shower but that's wrong! Contraception goes back a long way. “The ancients swallowed potions to cause temporary sterility; they used linen, wool, or animal skins as barrier methods; they fumigated the uterus with poison to prevent it from generating life (Fradd.). Even then, they have tried all different types of methods to prevent pregnancy in a woman and/or sexually transmitted diseases... middle of paper... with lasting harmful effects, both psychological and physical; this harmful problem must be eradicated. Teen pregnancy is not right and should not be tolerated. Hopefully, by studying the causes and effects, a much-needed solution can be discovered and implemented. Of the three solutions studied, the most logical and feasible one is abstinence because it is the surest way to prevent any bad ideas regarding sex. If something doesn't change, there will be more uneducated girls raising children alone. A solid remedy can be implemented to put an end to this very serious problem. Bottom line, stay safe, stay happy, and enjoy life the way it should be enjoyed. Don't let society deceive people. Have fun, you can have fun and be safe at the same time, sex is not important. Don't let a child be on your wish list or failure list.
