Gun control is an extremely hot topic right now around the world. The problem is unlikely to be resolved soon. Additionally, parents also play an important role in developing safe practices and are ultimately responsible for their children's behavior and safety. According to the National Rifle Association of America (2012), parents who agree to take responsibility for practicing, learning, and teaching gun safety rules will ensure the safety of their children to a much greater extent than those who do not.
