The Holocaust was a horrific event in which many innocent human beings were hopelessly slaughtered in concentration camps or simply shot. This is why we study the Holocaust, so that it never happens again. It all started with Hitler. Hitler was a soldier in World War I and was wounded several times in combat. When Germany lost the war, Hitler was angry that he had put himself in danger and was hurt for his country, which he lost. This event, combined with some childhood events, was the beginning of Hitler's reign. It all started with Hitler trying to start a rebellion, start what he called a Thousand Year Reich and wanted revenge on those who had brought down Germany. His coup failed and he was arrested. In prison he wrote Mein Kampf in which he told about his life and his plan to put Germany on top of the world. His book had so much power that Hitler soon gained the control he wanted and in time became the Chancellor and controlled the entire country. Once Hitler gained power, war would surely begin. Hitler began by blaming the Jews for the loss of his country and began driving them out of Germany, but he didn't stop there. He began to kill Jews in time and established the Nuremberg racial laws. He also formed an alliance with Japan and Italy with the intention of conquering the entire world. Before the actual war began, there was the Holocaust. The Holocaust refers to the mass killing of people, especially by fire, and that is what Hitler did. Jews were the most targeted group of people, but there was an unwanted list that contained people such as homosexuals or the physically or mentally disabled. At first, people were lined up and shot by firing squad, but it was considered a waste of bullets and they needed a more efficient method...... middle of paper......locaust and during World War II there was a girl named Anne Frank. Anne was a German Jew who went into hiding during the Holocaust, but the reason she's so famous is because she kept a diary of what was happening in her life and what was happening during the war. Her diary was full of information about the Jews' struggle during the war and how difficult it was for her and her family to survive in hiding. She lived in hiding for a few years until one day they were captured and sent to die in concentration camps. Anne passed through three fields and died in the third field. His father was the only one in his family to survive the war. The Holocaust was the worst thing about human nature and we must ensure that such an event never happens again. To do this we need to tell everyone about the Holocaust and explain to them why it was such a bad thing, so no one will try to do the same thing Hitler did..
