In 1790 Mozart received money for his published works. Mozart was asked to compose a comic opera, to write the requiem mass, and to write an opera to celebrate the coronation, where Mozart accepted all three requests. The comic opera was a great success, however the Coronation opera was not a great success for Mozart. As for the requiem, it was unfinished because he died while writing it. Mozart had a tragic death, he became increasingly ill with visions of his own death. Mozart was obsessed with the requiem. Mozart fell ill while in Prague in September, but was in good spirits and optimistic about the future. In November 1791 Mozart became further ill and was confined to bed. Mozart lived to the age of 35. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died on December 5, 1791 at 1:00 am in Vienna. The certified cause was “severe miliary fever” and was subsequently called “rheumatic inflammatory fever”. He had a simple funeral and was buried in a multiple grave, which was normal in Vienna at the time. After his death, Costanza completed and released the music. Mozart achieved many different results throughout his life. He became a Freemason in December 1784, because he was accepted by Joseph Haydn and Joseph II, Mozart also earned his paternal title.
