This made the purpose of shopping other than achieving what the person needs to become an enjoyment. The concept of shopping has changed to that of addiction. According to Lisa Merlo, assistant professor of psychiatry at the UF College of Medicine. “Excessive cell phone use is associated with certain characteristic behavior patterns, including using something to feel good, developing a tolerance and needing more of it over time to get the same sensation, and l 'abstinence if deprived of it."
