Two crucial aspects of this type of cinema are deep focus and long take. Deep focus shooting allows us to take advantage of depth of field, where you can see all the planes in one shot. By seeing everything in one shot, this would allow the viewer to see everything as in reality. This was also used to show characters doing different things; with all three planes in focus, the viewer could see whatever he wanted. Because it has deep space, it allows the shot to be longer, therefore allowing the audience to look at the image clearly and choose what to focus on as they notice all the different things that have happened. They used real locations rather than studio sets. Non-actors were used, who improvised from their scripts and recorded dialogue
