Observing teacher/student interaction, students are very eager to be involved in discussions. This shows that they understand and appreciate the material they are given. This made me reflect on my second year of English where we didn't have much to read that was actually fun. Sure we talked about ethnicity, but we failed to embrace the meaning of diversity as much as he did in this class. It has two sections, the class as a whole and the four students who make up the honors team. I got to spend some time with the honors group, I was able to distinguish the different roles and qualities that each student had that complemented each other. Even though the lesson is interactive, some students still hold back and don't talk in class as much as others. Each student learns at a different pace, but as a teacher you keep them engaged. It may bounce from one student to another, but it gives everyone equality in learning. If a student doesn't understand, he encourages him to do so
