I was a four-year letter winner in volleyball and basketball. Athletics has been a crucial part of developing my character and work ethic. In sports, you have to work together with your team to achieve your goals. Confidence and communication skills are vital and are tested every day. The failures and setbacks I faced through sports helped me believe in myself and have the self-confidence needed to succeed in athletics and in life. As the senior captain of the volleyball and basketball teams, my leadership improved tremendously as I progressed through high school. Being a leader holds me accountable and I aim to be a role model for younger teammates on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Clubs have been a great way to expand my interests outside of athletics. I was involved in Key Club and FCA's first year and enjoyed meeting new people and making a difference in our community. I was placed as a junior year NHS member and this was a great way to make the service a priority. In junior and senior year I took an active role in FBLA and am no longer able to do so....
