I believe that this war should have been prevented and that it was dragged out and that it was the direct cause of the rise of Hitler which led to World War II. In my opinion, I think World War I was to blame for the most brutal war. With Hitler, the concentration camps and the Germans killing Jews in the gruesome ways they did, they had no remorse and I am personally happy that Germany lost the war or was forced to surrender due to the lack of resources it had.
