New technologies have resulted in greater levels of automation. Information systems have made it easier to communicate, collaborate and coordinate to achieve common goals. To survive, thrive and outperform the competition in today's competitive world, business organizations and entrepreneurs must make technology an ally and harness its full potential. My flair for innovation combined with enthusiasm encouraged me to enroll in graduate studies and contribute to research in this field. Many university courses [Micro and Macro Economics and Engineering Economics] have given me an insight into this interesting field, motivating me to further explore its scope through a Master's degree. These courses increased my interest in research, which encouraged me to apply for a research assistant position at the University of Nottingham as an internship. I worked there for four months on the topic “BIM and constructability of buildings” which was in the research phase from a management point of view. The main objectives were to reduce delays, excessive budgets and increase the quality, safety and constructability of buildings from a management perspective. The ultimate goal was to maximize profit for customers with the least possible expense. It also allowed us to understand customer purchasing trends in this sector. The main work was to develop programming structures and codes to facilitate the process of quantifying constructability. My involvement in research, particularly management, including hypothesis formulation, analysis and team collaboration, is similar to what can be done in a business life cycle. This opportunity helped me broaden my knowledge on research and analysis methodologies, especially while attending the European Group for Intelligent Computing in Engineering [EG-ICE] 2017 conference during my internship period. The kind of exposure I got through the internship further interested me in the research aspect of management. Additionally, the work-study program at AUB provided basic research skills and honed my skills in communication, managing teamwork, thriving under pressure, and presenting results under time constraints. As a laboratory assistant, the job involved helping civil engineering students conduct their experiments and assisting them in analyzing the results. Additionally, my leadership and extracurricular experience have allowed me to develop the core skills to succeed in a rigorous, team-oriented environment. As a member of the AUB Consulting Club, we have been in contact with all kinds of consulting firms and crack case seminars that have provided us with knowledge in this field. I also gained critical insight into relationship building measures in a formal, structured environment. My positive attitude, resourcefulness and uncompromising commitment come from a variety of life experiences and will be useful in a business-oriented environment. Being part of the AUB Entrepreneurship Club was fundamental in directing my attention towards sectors related to..
