Composite Material Selection In the automotive industry, the current situation is to replace the material currently used in vehicles with advanced biological material. To make it eco-friendly and improve energy consumption, weight reduction plays an important role. Leaf springs are used for heavy vehicle suspensions where they are updated at regular intervals of time to reduce the weight. The main advantage of the leaf spring is that the end of the spring is moved along a particular path to absorb shock and also act as a support element of the structure. This is the main sign of using leaf spring versus coil spring which carries axial loads, lateral loads and braking torque on the entire suspension. Suspension is widely used for the purpose of storing energy and then releasing it. For the design factor the strain energy is important to design it. So the strain energy ratio is given by Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? But it is presented without any reduction in load capacity and suspension stiffness. It should have the ability to store potential energy as strain energy and release it slowly, which helps absorb vertical loads and road impact that causes vibration in the spring deflection. For the leaf spring it is suggested that fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP), which has high strength and elastic properties in the longitudinal direction, also has a lower weight factor. Because of these qualities, FRP is substituted in place of steel and multiple leaf springs. To predict the fatigue life of the material, the theoretical formula used is formulated based on the fatigue modulus and its degradation rate is explained by the creation of strain cracking. Nowadays, the main concern is for the ecological factor, recyclability and environmental products that make our society free from pollution and global warming problems. . The attractive factors of natural fiber are lower density, high specific mechanical properties, CO2 neutral etc.I. Life cycle of natural fiber As an alternative to glass fiber among natural fibers, flax fiber has the good mechanical properties of the promising one. Here the linen fibers are made up of microfibrils which provide resistance. To achieve the greatest effect of mechanical properties, flax fibers are reinforced with composite materials. It also gains more durability. By increasing the cellulose content in the flax fibre, greater mechanical resistance is obtained. Cellulose and lignin represent 71% and 2.2% of flax fibers, respectively. Chemical constituents such as high cellulose content also provide and decrease linen's resistance to moisture. In the present work, the conventional single- and multi-steel leaf spring is analyzed. The results obtained from the analysis are compared with the leaf spring model made of biocomposite material. These springs are designed using CAD software and simulated. The results are analyzed only based on the reports generated in the simulation software.II. Spring Design Parameters a.
