Calcium is necessary for healthy bones, nerves, blood vessels, and muscle function. A great source of potassium was orange juice and banana. Potassium lowers blood pressure and can reduce the risk of kidney stones and bone loss. The main source of sodium was the ham sandwich with mayonnaise. It is best to always choose low sodium or no sodium foods. I mostly got copper, magnesium, and zinc from Honey Bunches of Oats cereal. Copper helps develop healthy cells for the body. Magnesium builds bones, produces proteins, releases energy from muscles and controls body temperature. Zinc plays an important role in the formation of proteins, helps in wound healing, blood formation, growth and maintenance of tissues. Phosphorus and selenium came from the omelette. Phosphorus helps build strong bones and teeth, produce energy and produce cells. Selenium is used in cellular metabolism and as an antioxidant to protect cells
