Something I want to do differently from my parents is make time for each other every day. It's important to get together and talk about things that are going on. I wish my parents would spend time together in word and prayer together. 11. I definitely take more after my mother, which I hate to admit. My mother is a clean freak and always wants things to be in order. I would get so frustrated with her because I didn't think it mattered. Now that I'm in college and living in an apartment, I find myself wanting things to always be neat and clean. My mother is a hospitable person, she always invites people to our house and cooks for them. I also like to invite people and share with them. I find so much joy in cooking a meal for others and sitting down and eating together. 12. My parents are happily married and I have a good relationship with both of them. I can't even imagine growing up in a house with divorced parents. I am so grateful for two loving parents who love each other.
