I am really gratified and happy that my brothers are doing great and have decent jobs. At least I have the security that my mother is taken care of when I'm not there. Thanks to my compassionate husband for the opportunity he gave me. Even though living away from many family members is not easy, this circumstance has taught me to be more independent and appreciate every little thing in my life. Furthermore, I learned many new skills and gained more experiences from this trip. Throughout these years, I have tried to balance my hectic school schedule, my social life, and most importantly, my responsibilities towards my family. I love getting involved in my daughter's school's PTO organization. Also, I recently applied to volunteer at my local hospital. The experience sparked a sense of responsibility that I never knew was present within me. My migration to the United States transformed me into a new person in a positive way. Additionally, I have met numerous wonderful people in this country. I'm thrilled to say that some of them have become my best friends and are more like family to me. Clearly, my migration to the United States has a profound impact on my life
