They are responsible for designing jobs in the organization (Martin, 2009). They should design jobs in a way that motivates employees. Designing jobs based on the needs of the organization would be too benign. Here the objectives of the work will mostly be connected to the objectives of the organisation. The working condition would be such that it demonstrates the needs and skills of the employees in the respective position. If work goals were aligned with organizational goals, a positive work environment would be created (Gilmore and Williams, 2009). Job design should follow the ethical standards of the organization. If jobs are designed according to the needs of people and the organization, on the one hand the organization will benefit and on the other hand the employees will be more willing to do the work and be motivated. The works must be designed for some specific areas. A single job should satisfy a single objective. Functional areas should be separated (Chen, 2009).
