These hierarchies then have concepts that determine or influence the actions of people in societies. These concepts range from what space you can enter, what you wear in a social setting, and how people divide their time. I used two examples: social space and customs. These two impressed me the most because I interact with them on a daily basis. I'm also very diligent when it comes to my time, but these two concepts specifically pertain to my life. A concept can affect your life in many different ways and this in turn changes your actions in certain situations. Social hierarchy exists because we live in a society dominated by the 1% who set precedents for what is socially acceptable. These hierarchies are mandatory but unfortunately they are ingrained in people's minds because it is its human nature. It is human nature to act a certain way depending on one's role in that situation. These hierarchies will continue to change people's daily lives because they are part of the way they act and think. All our actions are based on the hierarchies in which we coexist and sometimes we are not aware of it. Society makes them important because it is ingrained in our nature to have different levels of class. Everyone seeks power, privilege and prestige and for this reason social hierarchies will continue to exist and
