It amazed me a lot when I think about the complexity of the human body, how each part of the body coordinates beautifully, and what will happen if one part is diseased? This is where science and technology come into play to help the body. I was attracted by that thought and have a strong desire to be part of it, this is why I chose to study Medicine. From the 1st year of medical school I was attracted to Internal Medicine. I love diagnosing patients by their symptoms rather than operating on the human body. My passion for Internal Medicine arose from my clinical rotations within it. Whenever I saw patients with new diseases, I asked them in detail about their complaints, went for medical examinations, and asked my attending physician for information. Finally, after I got home, I read Harrison's Principles of Medicine on that disease. From this I was amazed to see how things go wrong in the human body, if a single organ does not function properly, how amazingly science has discovered ways to cure it.
