Topic > Movie Analysis: Interpersonal conflict in the movie...

This happens when Sara and her best friend go speed dating together. Hitch arrives, telling Sara directly that Albert is a great man and how much he is in love with Allegra. Sara counters, once again assuming what Hitches' motives are with his clients and hers. Hitch is opening up a little in this scene and Sara doesn't notice because her mind is still clouded by what she previously assumed. Once Hitch figures out who the source is, he clarifies that the information is false and lets both Sara and her best friend know the truth. Later, Sara tries to apologize to Hitch for reporting her work and all the problems she caused. It actually wasn't the bad thing he'd initially thought, and he was actually doing something positive. The good thing Hitch was doing was helping guys communicate better with women they liked, instead of false pretenses. Interpersonal conflicts happen all the time and are not necessarily bad. In Hitch, there were many instances where some of these conflicts could have been avoided, if they had communicated better. It can destroy the relationship two people have together or bring them closer together
