Gatsby was a really, really good person, but he was used and exploited by people and Daisy in particular. If it weren't for Nick, Gatsby probably wouldn't have even had the chance to talk to Daisy again. By doing what Nick did for Gatsby, Gatsby must be very kind and grateful for it. If Nick hadn't done this, Gatsby might not have gotten his heart broken for the second time by Daisy. East and West Egg both represent the type of people who live there. East Egg is full of people who are stubborn and who step over people to get somewhere if they need it. They take advantage of people and use them to get what they want for only a short time. West Egg is full of kind people who truly care about people. They don't just affect themselves but others. These people are also those people who are trampled on by others. The Great Gatsby was an amazing book and it was so good that it made you want to be a part of it
