I had no problem standing at the front of the class because it meant all the attention was on me and I liked it. My problem was that I had to read in class, I always got nervous because I didn't want to make a mistake with an easy word that everyone in class knew except me. Another thing I didn't like about reading aloud in front of the class was that I had a couple of friends in my class who did stupid things to mess me up. Some of my friends would laugh or make noises to distract me and I would get the words I was reading wrong, it was funny to me but it also made me very anxious about reading aloud. Even though I didn't have to go into another room and get help with reading, I sometimes felt like the teacher thought I needed it because I didn't want to read out loud.
