Technology, a bizarre advancement of hominid creations, is revolutionizing cultures by replacing the manifestation of human intellectual achievements with facile objects that make life on earth easier. The fact that technology affects all individuals is inevitable, since everyone is surrounded by it, from large nuclear reactors to small nanochips. Culture is strongly influenced by these daily encounters through changing opinions on war, religious traditions and lifestyles. These changes not only influence how useful we feel technology is, but also encourage us to discover more efficient ways of living life. While technology is slowly making everyone “smart,” it is causing us to leave a more positive economic and environmental footprint. By purchasing these amazing pieces of technology consumers can encourage industries to create more attractive and efficient products. While we encourage industries, we also establish “guidelines” for them to comply with. For example, if the industry created a hundred Gigabyte music player, in the next version everyone would expect a physically smaller music player capable of having more storage space. Cultures change based on the influence technology has on society. When cultures change, it affects the way we think about life. When humans developed very sophisticated military weapons using new technology, the world's perspective towards other life had changed. For example, the nuclear bomb was a major advance in armaments when developed countries began to think it was acceptable to stockpile nuclear rockets that, if made, could kill all life on earth three times over. As soon as we developed machines to sew clothes in large quantities, companies tried different ways of wearing garments...... middle of paper ...... and technology."
