Self-Reflection Observing myself and the composition of my character has given me a better understanding of myself. How certain traits and skills that stand out reflect what can make me better and what obstacles I need to overcome to achieve my goals. Take several tests that reflect who they are, such as personality tests. Scores high in areas such as self-efficacy and self-discipline, reaffirming my thoughts about myself when it comes to achieving my goals without letting others lead me astray. However, I scored high in areas such as being sociable and enjoying the company of others. I use these traits to make friends quickly and build a network of different people who I help or help me in different aspects of my life. Additionally, I use assertiveness to influence others to push not only myself, but also others in teamwork to achieve the desired outcome. Even though this process of mine slows down others, I maintain a high level of activity necessary to perform day after day. The second test I took that helped me connect some of my characteristics to my potential jobs was the PGI test. This test assessed enjoyment and skills of different jobs that require certain levels of attributes to be successful in their respective positions. Positions were assigned certain scores along a list of over 50 different career choices. Budget analysts were one of my top ten and caught my interest along with many different finance-leaning jobs dealing with business operations. Business operations are definitely one of my professional interests, along with business operations dealing with technological innovations. I find myself being an imaginative person and I see myself innovating companies to keep up with the... half of the paper...... that can use to get tasks done. Having high self-efficacy in both of these positions is critical. Knowing that I have the experience to complete a task and believe that I can complete it will help me in presentations or presenting information. Overall, many different aspects of how I see myself along with personal factors, characteristics and values have helped me understand myself better. Understanding myself helped me understand my goals and the steps towards achieving them. As I learn to achieve these goals, I understand that it's not just up to me. There are others who are affected by my decisions and will be affected whether the decisions are good or bad. Also, whether the career I choose will help people in society or benefits to help my family. This course has helped me in many ways and will lead me to be more prepared than on the first day of class.
