Not everyone learns at the same pace or style. Some children like quick, targeted instruction, while others require a new skill to be repeated often before learning it. Today's classroom will incorporate multiple ways of learning. Children receive information verbally which is very often accompanied by visual and tangible support. Today's classroom sees your child as an individual who has strengths and weaknesses, whose academic and social needs are met so that they can be successful. Today's classroom incorporates multiple ways of learning. There are three main learning styles: auditory, visual and kinesthetic. The first is to understand what the student's preferred learning style preference is so you can support it. That said, that style can change due to what is being taught or what he is doing. Knowing and understanding your students' needs and being able to read their signals will go a long way in helping them succeed in what you ask of them. If you know a student hates loud math games, it's best to plan a quiet place to work, whether with a few students or independently. Your student may be the type who needs social interaction to function well, and you will plan for group work. The child who needs a lot of visual aids and reminders will require some planning and preparation on my part or the teachers
