As an incoming college student I really didn't know what to expect going in. Even though I didn't move from my hometown, it was a big change going from high school. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but with a lot of hard work it would definitely be possible. As a freshman in college I came with many strengths and weaknesses developed before entering college; I also have opportunities and threats along the way that could potentially help or hurt me in the future. It is up to me to use them in a positive way to help me succeed in college and use my experiences in everyday life. Coming to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette wasn't my first choice, it was actually my second. I originally want to go to Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana
