This is an advantage for shy individuals who have more information and ability to carry on conversation with others. Online conversation is now more fluid for shy people. They will no longer be ashamed of themselves for the mistakes they make during online communication, because they can easily fix them while chatting. With online chat services, shy people feel more comfortable. Additionally, a study from “The Influence of Shyness on the Use of Facebook in an Undergraduate Sample” found that normal users spend less time than shy members on Facebook.
