Once they knew that nuclear war was inevitable, the war council began crunching the numbers to see how many would survive in our fallout shelter. It has been determined that only 6 of the 12 eligible to live will be chosen. It is with heavy hearts that they must choose the best 6 to live and condemn the remaining 6 to die. The war council chose the 36-year-old female doctor, the third-year medical student, the 16-year-old pregnant female, the 30-year-old Catholic priest, the 38-year-old male “Mr. Fix it,” and the 22-year-old Army nurse and midwife. The 36-year-old doctor was chosen solely for her medical profession and the fact that she is a woman. It is not known how many years of practice she has, however the 8 years needed to get her medical degree should prove her weight in gold. In her notes it is written that she is a self proclaimed racist, however it was not noted which race she is racist towards.
