In “Do what you love? #@&** That!" by Jeff Haden, explains how telling people to do what they love in their careers is disastrous advice. Haden tells his readers that "this advice has probably led to the failure of more businesses than all recessions combined…because that's not how the vast majority of people end up owning successful businesses" (qtd. in Haden 463). Haden also states that to feel a true sense of passion you have to produce something important, earn money from it respect and feel control over your life (Haden 463). Not everyone agrees with mixing passion and work life together as some people think they are two completely different things, but somehow someone's work life becomes a passion without it. whether they realize it or not even try to make their work life a passion” (qtd . Haden 463). Even if not everyone chooses to follow their passion, somehow someone ends up doing something they like and then perhaps love. Everyone has a job, some cannot choose the job they specifically want, but choose one over another based on what they will like best. People can choose
