Attitude (hesed), process (mutual accountability), and structure (federalism) are what make the organization a healthy place to be a part of (Fischer, 2009). Within my organization, I want to maintain long-term, reciprocal relationships with my colleagues and treat them as I would like to be treated, much like our God's covenant with man (Fischer, 2009). In particular, my personality test helped me better understand my place within the organization to help us achieve the results we seek. I found that the overall morale of the work environment became more pleasant as well. Many employees are also noticing the change in me and no longer find my work-related comments offensive or disrespectful. For example, I was planning the arrival of new merchandise for my Kids department, when time had passed and I was unable to complete the task by that day. To make sure I could complete the task and not cause conflict with the stock lead, I asked the store manager to change my shift, so I could be there when the new merchandise arrived. Luckily there was plenty of time to adjust the program. On the day of delivery, the merchandise was placed inside the store in a timely manner, causing no unwanted headaches for my ISTP Stock Lead employee and giving our customers more purchasing options.
