If criminals eat free meals at taxpayers' expense, then children should also receive free lunch in schools. It leads to the idea that a person is rewarded for having bad behavior and lifestyle. Imagine the embarrassment and state of mind a student would be left in after having their meal snatched from their hands due to their parents not paying or not meeting the bill.
