This part of the production has formed beautifully in my mind. It all came together so beautifully in my mind because the extreme musical choices helped create an initial emotion in the subconscious. Then Murray's delivery helped me feel like I was watching the real deal, not just a character. And finally, the conscious emotions evoked by The Ballad of Guiteau that helped me connect with the rest of the production. My final thoughts on the production are that it didn't change my opinions, but strengthened them. It reinforced my opinion that, unfortunately, many people who have committed murder or attempted murder feel somewhat justified. And in Guiteau's case he felt that his actions were justified because he was doing it for God. Most people who have similar pathologies need serious help, yet they don't think like that. The production managed to dive into a deep, scary and very real topic in an entertaining way. I think this production is worth redoing, because it's rare to hear the "bad" side of the story. Overall, I believe these types of productions bring us all to a better understanding
