Sometimes we may not like the choices we make, so it is our job to correct them. Making the right decisions is one of the hardest things we do. Our lives will never become carefree unless you are from Wonderland and maybe the Mad Hatter. (Even though he was obviously under the influence of some kind of drug, and not the rabbit, that guy is late for everything.) However, we are able to correct our mistakes with thoughtful decisions. Students in their first year of college share similar challenges. These struggles can find ways to turn into benefits. Benefits such as preparation for future years and evaluation of personal programs. “For many high school students, it is difficult to imagine what the long-term benefits of a college education might be. College is intimidating, work seems daunting, and meeting new people seems overwhelming” (McGuire, 2011, para. 2). The struggle is real! freshman year of college is sure to open the eyes of all graduates to the huge differences between high school and college. there are more perks to college, transfer students get their own room, rant they have to share it with another stranger, however this is what makes the college experience. no rent, no bills to pay because they've already been paid. Food is paid for; it's like living at home, hot food when you need it, warm room to sleep in.
