The atmosphere keeps the earth's temperature within certain extreme limits. It's neither too hot nor too cold, and everything can cycle quite well within the temperatures. If we exploit the Yasuni National Park, temperatures will increase, causing the atmosphere to absorb more heat than it receives. It's time for us Ecuadorians to wake up and oppose any attempt to exploit nature. No matter how much money oil gives us, it does not compare to the richness of the natural paradise that Ecuador has. One day, when we no longer have oil, trees or birds, future generations will pay the consequences of the lack of importance we have today in preserving the environment. This is important and we must help generate nature and try to conserve the environment. Yasuni is a unique paradise of biodiversity and we are not only trying to save the life of the Ecuadorian rainforest, but we are also trying to improve as a country by looking for new ideas to conserve everyone's life.
