Multi-store memoryThe Multi-store memory model is a memory model created in the 1960s, which is inserted into three different storage systems, namely sensory memory, memory long-term and short-term memory. The sensory memory system works by acting as a gateway for memory storage, as it connects to our different senses, such as touch, smell, hearing, etc. This is where our information about the world around us is stored, even if it only stays in our memory for a couple of seconds. Not all of the memory stored in the sensory memory system is transmitted to STM (short-term memory), although a small portion is. The next model of memory is LTM (long-term memory), which is the most advanced model of memory. It has the largest memory storage capacity with an unlimited amount of memory for an undisclosed period of time. Memory stored in LTM can be influenced by schemas, which make memories distorted, which makes memories inaccurate. STM (short-term memory), which is the latest multistore memory process, is the least advanced memory...
