Drowning, drowning is actually more interesting than what I'm used to seeing at Raystown Lake in Huntingdon County. Drowning can be defined as death caused by immersion in a liquid. Furthermore, it means being under water for too long and unable to breathe, another is to hold (a person or animal) under water until death. The last thing is to completely cover something living with a liquid. Drowning could occur in water as shallow as six inches. It could occur in a lake, in the ocean, in a bathtub, in some cases in the event of death due to alcoholic stupor, or of a person who is in a condition of great stupor or total suspension of the senses. Epileptics, i.e. with convulsions (Dimaio & Dimaio, 2001). Raystown Lake is dear to my heart and family. My family was displaced by eminent domain when they built the lake for flood control. Now my family has several boats located at Seven Points Marina. I have been working on Raystown Lake for seven summers now as a first mate on our Princess tour boat and other private houseboats. I am also a security guard. Since I have been working at the lake, I have witnessed many dangers and drownings. But one story hits close to home for me. I was working on a warm, sunny afternoon on August 18, 2012, and this grandfather came to Seven Points Marina and was crying, and he was trying to explain that he had gotten a call from the Army Corps of Engineers at Raystown Lake, that his grandson was jumping off cliffs and did not emerge. He was looking for how to get to the Susquehannock campground. At first I didn't realize who this man was, and when I called to see where they could pick up Grandpa, I took another look, and it was Clay Bishop's grandfather, and I just put the phone down and... .... middle of the paper ...... down. After death, the bacterial flora of the gastrointestinal tract spreads throughout the body, causing putrefaction. This process is accelerated in septic people, because we already have bacteria throughout the human body before death. The body that has been drowned in gases will help the body emerge (Huston & Froloff, 2013). With all the research I see how horrible drowning really is. That said, it's not an easy way out. Drowning is my greatest fear. It is said that a person who commits suicide by drowning is often depicted as a lonely and disturbed individual who, after contemplating what life has left and had to deal with, throws himself off the bridge, or in ancient times in Raystown Lake people dived to the old cliffs and chased them away. One theory about Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance is that he is at the bottom of Lake Raystown.
