1. Elias Strorm was David Strorm's grandfather and how he came to Waknuk was quite interesting. Elias Strorm came to Waknuk primarily because he did not believe in the godless lifestyle of the East. Elias was a very religious man and wanted to be involved in a religious community. He wanted to live in a less complicated, stable, safe and reliable region, which was different from the one he lived in. He came across Waknuk (which was undeveloped at the time), brought all his things, and ended up staying there. He arrived with his belongings crammed into six carriages. He chose Waknuk because he thought he could enforce the rule of normalcy and lives the rest of his life his own way starting at the age of 45.2. David's grandfather is a very strict and normal person, who takes seriously every step that is taken around him. Elias was a careless person who did not care for his peers. His dull and stubborn ways greatly influenced his loved ones. His way of life was serious and religious, which did not correspond to his history. Elias' wife was a beautiful, living soul, full of love and peace; she was shy and cute, as well as charming and exciting. She was a few years younger but she was delicate and angel-like, she was pink and golden and wonderful. He married to gain respect and have more power, he wanted to have children and enforce the law more. He basically wanted to start a house. I didn't work because he couldn't love her, and Elias's behavior rejected his wife from life and made her depressed, she could never find love from her husband. Elias did not love her, abused her beauty, and suppressed modesty with admonition, faded the pink and gold with preaching, and made a person sad and gray, who was too depressed to live, so she was dead.3 . Joseph is an attentive, loving, caring person; he is a man of local prominence. He is religious and has a lot of respect for others, Joseph is a loyal man who cares for others, but applies the rules well and strictly. Joseph is similar to his father in that he is obsessed with enforcing the rules and being normal, also like his father Joseph is very religious and preaches.
