Many Canadians have strong opinions on education issues and influence where they attend school, as well as their political beliefs. Although Canadians are critical of education, most of them tend to participate in government-regulated formal education, through public school. Education has transformed from a place to learn the basic skills needed for survival, to teaching how to become a skilled worker, and finally how to become an ethical and knowledgeable member of society, and as new technologies and information are introduced into the Our society's educational needs are constantly changing. The only question is: can education last?
