I love how the movie has a consistent idea to mention the green light; the essential thing that the green light means to Gatsby. If the movie left out the green light, it would feel a little ignored since the green light is one of the biggest symbols in the book that encapsulates Gatsby's dream. Aside from the similarity, the most obvious difference between the book and the film is Nick and Jordan's love story. Many people might think that the relationship between these two characters isn't as important as the rest of the main character; however, I personally love this relationship. It is so different from the relationship between Daisy, Gatsby and Tom. The author shows that the love between Daisy, Tom and Gatsby is simpler; the love between these three characters is more intense. On the other hand, the relationship between Jordan and Nick is more stable and mysterious. If you ask me if I would rather read the book again or watch the movie again; I will definitely tell you that I will read the novel again in a heartbeat as it is much more interesting and
