My native language is Spanish and I learned English throughout my elementary and middle school years. Growing up with Spanish as my first language was a great quality of mine, so I think learning Spanish is more difficult than learning English. I am extremely happy and grateful that I learned Spanish and English because it is really great to know both languages. Both languages ​​are the two most used in the valley, which is the area where I grew up. When I was little I started my preschool and kindergarten years with English lessons. They eventually moved me to bilingual classes in first grade. As a future teacher, it is my responsibility to help students learn their native language and at the same time guide them with their second language. I believe it is important to teach in both languages ​​because it gives students a better understanding of what is being taught. Before the test days I intend to conduct practical tests, so that the students can get used to the tests and not be afraid of them during the tests. Starting at the third grade level, every school in the state of Texas conducts tests related to the material taught during the tests. whole year. These tests have changed their name and regulations year after year. When I was in school they called them TAAS tests. They later changed the name of these tests to TAKS tests. Later, after I graduated, they started calling them STAAR tests. These test scores have great significance for students' overall progress in their grade level. Teachers need to focus on teaching the right material to get students to pass all the assessments that their students need to pass.
