Topic > Music and Morality: Controlled by Music by Roger Scruton

The author makes readers understand that dancing in a club is optimistic, but there is no control of the body and instead of dancing together people rub each other's one on top of the other. Furthermore, the author uses repetition in this article when he constantly compares different musical genres with pop music and also when he talks about the mechanics of music. In a section of Music and Morals, Scruton discusses how people react to music in multiple paragraphs throughout the story, and I think this is effective because it gives a sense of timeliness to the topic. The author also addresses the opposition, which I consider critical in an article. Scruton says there's quite a bit of popular music that people can dance to sociably; however, he makes his point when he says that people submit to music more than they listen to it
