The GLR is not a powerful or stealthy ship, it doesn't even have any unique weapons. What he does have, however, is a family, a slightly dysfunctional family who yell and scream and kick each other. They may not all be related by blood, but they act as if they are. The GLR whirred away into open, still space. The day was normal, according to the local galactic weather report - which the crew heard while receiving an alien signal on their intercom - it was supposed to be clear with light meteor showers. Once again the crew was arguing about a long-discussed topic that still had no resolution. Who should be the captain? The two youngest members of the crew argued that they would be best suited. Wave, the blue Semaloid, had a unique approach. The Semaloids are not the most trustworthy alien species, due to their humanoid characteristics and their disputes between their three home planets. It is unusual to have Semaloids outside of their cluster. They also tend not to do well in groups. “I should be the captain!” Wave shouted, her hands on her hips, her face pouting and her aqua blue curls hiding her face. “I'm the second youngest, which means I have a greater understanding of how the world works now, unlike you old guys.” "I'm only 21!" the two older ones shouted. "But I'm bigger than you!" This was Niracos, the green Semaloid, always in agreement. He may only be a few months older than Damion, the orange Semaloid, but he felt he should be captain. Her argument infuriated the other girls. "I'm stuck on a ship with four women! At least give me some fun!" he said, with his arms crossed over his chest. This would later spark a fight between him and Niraco. Which they would then laugh about in ten minutes... middle of paper... any damage he wanted to keep his identity secret. So she remained still when he let her go. "What is your name?" she slowly turned and asked the alien."Avirosylanto, but I'm nicknamed Avarshei.""Avarshei...I...am Synergii." She looked at her wrist, the mark now completely transparent. “Is that why they were hunting you?” He nodded, his arm slightly behind his back. "I have to go back to my father, please don't tell anyone." “I…” he sighed, conflicted. "I won't." "Thank you." The Arocone breathed a sigh of relief that he had evidently been holding back for some time. The intercom boomed in the ship. "Hey Synergii, see you in the hall, want to?" it was Wave. Synergii greeted the Arocone and ran out of the room but then poked her head through the door. “Oh, before I forget, welcome to the GLR."
