The sudden suggestion that Soraya move in with Amir seems a little rushed. A moment is needed between the couple to make their relationship appear more smooth and realistic as they are saviors for each other. In addition to that, the use of the personal pronouns “we” and “our” highlights that Amir feels that he and Soraya are now eternally linked. "Chest to chest" emphasizes their intimacy and desire to touch each other. The repetition of “chest” here shows that they are reflections of each other. Likewise “Intertwined Fingers” symbolizes their equality within their relationship. This was achieved because they confided their secrets to each other.
