The documentary tried to show us how the factories were corrupt and could not provide good working conditions to the workers until we lost people. This documentary recounts the tragic fire that occurred on March 25, 1911 in the Triangle factory. We can clearly see through this documentary that these people did not matter to the factory owners because their needs were not being met. The documentary shows that the year before the fire workers had staged a strike demanding better working conditions, but obviously their voices had not been heard. After the fire, that's when the factories started to improve working conditions. It is sad to learn that it took 146 lives of innocent people for factory owners to be convinced of the need to improve the work of the poor
